We are an Independent Baptist Church that believes the King James Bible is the one and only inspired, infallible, and preserved Word of God, and that it is the final authority in all things. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He became man, without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Christ died, was buried, and resurrected on the third day for the atonement of our sins. Christ fully paid for our sins through the shedding of his blood and death on the cross, making eternal life in Heaven possible for anyone who accepts and believes in Him as their personal Saviour.
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith, and only comes by trusting and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9 KJV.
We believe, as Jesus Taught, that a man must be born again to be saved.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 kjv
We believe that once a person is saved, there are fruits and evidence of salvation.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
We believe that anyone can be saved!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 KJV.
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away all Sin!
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:7-9 KJV
We believe Salvation is eternal!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 KJV.
As a Baptist Church, we believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues, were temporary. We believe that speaking in tongues was never the common or necessary sign of the baptism or filling of the Holy Ghost. We believe that although God frequently chooses to answer the prayers of physical healing, the healing comes from God's hands.
"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." 1 Corinthians 13:8 KJV
